Ken believes in equal rights for all and for equal representation. The day that Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court it became clear to him that it was time to take a more active role in our political system. He is a Southern California native and has called Orange County home for most of his life. He moved to Rancho Santa Margarita in 2005 and fell in love with our great city. He recently moved to Robinson Ranch, where he lives with his wife Marjan, who is Iranian-American, and their two dogs, Enzo & Rizzo. No matter your cultural background, sexual identification, gender, religious beliefs, or even what sports team you root for, we all deserve to be treated equally. There are many issues that face us today on a local level and it all starts with transparency. He is running to be the voice for the thousands of RSM residents who have not been represented by the largely unchanged city council for the last two decades.
Ken got his start in sales for a company known as The Good Guys. It was in their initial training that he knew he would make a career out of training and supporting the growth of others. He has enjoyed a rewarding career in the world of training, where he has helped several businesses achieve profitable goals. He's designed successful learning strategies for companies such as Beats by Dr. Dre, Apple, Gap, Best Buy, T-Mobile, and Jacuzzi. As an expert in learning & staff development, he helps companies achieve success with, product presentations, sales, communication skills, teamwork, management strategies, and leadership skills.
Ken is a lifelong learner. In 2013 he went back to school for a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design and went on to earn his master’s degree in Education and Human Development from George Washington University. He has a passion for the learning process and helping businesses succeed. His career and education has provided him with the experience to help Rancho Santa Margarita meet the challenges of today by working collaboratively to find the best solutions.
